Custom Settings
Definition
These settings allow for customizing values for in individual Solutions and used in the Deployment Instance.
Example
When Plymouth Manufacturing purchased a new IoT Conveyor Belt, they defined a Custom Setting for the temperature on it’s Solution. This temperature is used to detect if the bearings on the conveyor belt are overheating. The Custom Setting allows for the belt, which is located in a warmer climate, to have a higher temperature versus a lower temperature in a cooler climate.
