Planner
Definition
A Planner is a Pipeline Module that determines how a Message should be processed. The Planner uses the Device ID and Message ID to locate the Message Type and Device Configuration. It combines Message data into a PEM and passes the information along to the Route.
Example
The Plymouth Iot Conveyor Belt sent a Message with a Message ID of temperature and a Device ID of PICBelt001. The Planner used this information to identify the Device that was associated with PICBelt001 and found its Device Configuration. The Planner then searched for a Message Type with the Message ID of temperature. Once the Device Configuration and Message Type were located, the Route was constructed and the Message processed.
